Sports develops the athlete. SafeTrack supports the WHOLE athlete

SafeTrack Athletic Network was created from a simple belief: keeping young athletes safe and helping them succeed requires more than what happens during the game.
By supporting families, educating athletes, and developing the adults who help shape the sports environment, SafeTrack works to create stronger people and safer sports communities.

Young athletes bring their whole lives into sports.
Family challenges. Social media. Relationships. Financial pressures. School. Mental and emotional stress. Conflict. Safety concerns. And decisions that can affect opportunities long after the final buzzer.
Yet the adults surrounding athletes don't always have the resources, information, or support to address those challenges.
SafeTrack was created to help close that gap.
Crystal Hogan brings together more than two decades of experience in public service, youth and family systems, criminal justice, investigations, education, and basketball officiating.
Her professional career has included work in child welfare, juvenile probation, state parole, case management, criminal justice education, and private investigations. At the same time, basketball has remained a major part of her life from playing the game to more than two decades as an official.
Crystal made history as the first woman to officiate men's NCAA Division I basketball full-time, giving her a unique perspective on athlete development, professionalism, conflict, accountability, and the realities surrounding competitive sports.
Those worlds ultimately came together through SafeTrack Athletic Network.
“I realized that everything I had spent my career doing—protecting people, navigating systems, educating others, solving problems, and working in sports—belonged in the same place.”
Crystal Hogan

Developing Basketball Officials
Preparing officials for everything beyond making the call—professionalism, communication, de-escalation, career readiness, life balance, and higher-level opportunities.

Supporting Sports Families
Helping families navigate challenges, locate community resources, and determine where to turn when life outside the game affects their athlete.

Preparing Student-Athletes
Engaging conversations about real situations athletes face—from social media and gambling to relationships, conflict, safety, pressure, and decision-making.

Through family resource navigation, student-athlete education, professional development, and community partnerships, SafeTrack equips families, athletes, officials, coaches, and organizations with practical knowledge and resources to recognize concerns earlier, make informed decisions, communicate effectively, and know where to turn when support is needed.
Our goal is not simply to protect athletes while they play.
It's to help prepare and support the whole person behind the athlete.
